Petit Planet crafting and the DIY Bench
Crafting turns gathered wood, stone, plants and inspiration into furniture. It is the main way to fill a house without waiting for shop rotations.
The DIY Bench
Crafting happens at the DIY Bench. Recipes cover furniture categories such as seating, tables, lighting, decorations, kitchen appliances and building elements. Some recipes are learned through progression, while others come from Inspo Cards or special sources.
Materials come from the planet and the Starsea: wood from trees, ore from deposits, plant fibers from wildgrass and special items from islets. Check the recipe before chopping; a stack of basic wood is more useful than a rare material you cannot use yet.
Inspo Cards and recipe discovery
Inspo Cards unlock furniture ideas. They come from neighbor interactions, Starsea surprise boxes and events. Medowlyn can exchange Inspo Cards for plushies at Bond Lv. 2, which is a good example of a talent that changes how you use a resource.
If a recipe is missing, it is usually locked behind an Inspo Card, a Homi Decor wish, a shop, or a progression milestone rather than a hidden crafting level.
What to craft first
- A bed, storage and lighting for your own house, because House Rating checks often care about filled slots.
- High-score decorations that fit the style you already own; do not craft one-off pieces with no set synergy.
- Neighbor Wish items only after the Basic Homi Decor set is complete.
- Duplicate cheap furniture to sell if you need Dough, but keep one of each unique item.
