Petit Planet is confirmed for a worldwide Winter 2026 release. The exact date has not been announced; the November 1, 2026 pre-launch program is the next expected update.

PC (Windows), iOS and Android are confirmed. HoYoverse says additional platforms are in development, but Switch, PS5 and Xbox versions are not announced.

Yes. It is free-to-play and cross-platform. There is no purchase required to play.

No. The PC version is distributed through HoYoverse, not Steam. There is no official Steam Deck build.

The Final Beta used about 18 GB on PC and around 10 GB on iOS. The launch client may be larger; leave 20–25 GB free to be safe.

You grow a small planet, farm, cook, catch creatures, decorate, befriend neighbors and sail the Starsea. It is a slow-life simulation with collection and social systems.

It shares the slow daily loop and anthropomorphic neighbors, but it adds a planet-growth tree, the Starsea Voyage, HoYoverse presentation and a larger collection layer. It is not an Animal Crossing game.

There is no traditional combat. Beetle battling, fishing, bug-catching and dance minigames are playful skill checks, not combat.

Yes. Petit Planet requires a constant internet connection, even when playing solo, according to PCGamingWiki and beta reports.

HoYoverse has not announced a character gacha. The beta focused on cosmetics, furniture and collection. Monetization details should be confirmed at launch.

Yes. The main story follows the player as a Planet Tender working with Loomi Co., with the Luca Arbor, the Starsea and the neighbor cast at the center.

The current English database lists 17 neighbors: five base neighbors and twelve invite neighbors. More may be added at launch.

Base neighbors join through the story and have no Bond or gift system. Invite neighbors are found in the Starsea and recruited through Bond levels and a visit request.

Chat once a day, give one gift per day, invite them to dinner, complete Vignettes and Homi Decor requests, and use daily interactions. Loved gifts give the biggest boost.

HoYoverse has not presented Petit Planet as a romance game. The Bond system is a friendship track, not a dating sim.

Neighbor Capacity is limited and increases through the Luca Arbor. Check the tree before inviting a new neighbor.

Yes, but it is social rather than competitive. The Galactic Bazaar is a shared hub, and friends can visit planets through Yoohoo.

The game is described as cross-platform. PC, iOS and Android players are expected to share the same ecosystem, though the beta did not expose every crossplay detail.

Yes. The entire planet loop, story and collection can be played solo. Multiplayer is optional.
