What is Petit Planet?
Petit Planet is a free-to-play cosmic life simulation game developed by miHoYo and published by HoYoverse. You tend a small planet, befriend animal neighbors, farm, cook, decorate and sail across the Starsea.
When does Petit Planet release?
Petit Planet is confirmed for a Winter 2026 worldwide release. HoYoverse has not announced the exact launch day yet; the pre-launch special program on November 1, 2026 is expected to share more.
What platforms is Petit Planet on?
Petit Planet is confirmed for PC (Windows), iOS and Android. HoYoverse has said additional platforms are in development, but Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox versions are not confirmed.
Is Petit Planet free to play?
Yes. Petit Planet is free-to-play and cross-platform. Pre-registration is open on the official HoYoverse site, with milestone rewards including the Bestie Star-Light and Sproutling Outfit Set.
Is Petit Planet multiplayer?
Yes. The Galactic Bazaar is a shared social hub where players can meet, play music, dance and use the Help Hub. Friends can visit each other's planets through the Yoohoo system.
