Why a daily routine helps

Petit Planet is built on small, time-gated interactions. The first chat of the day, one gift per neighbor, daily Footprints and the shop rotation all reset. A short routine captures those resets without turning the game into a second job.

The best routine is the one you will actually do. If you only have five minutes, prioritize the gift and the daily Footprints; they are the hardest to catch up on. Crops and creatures can be caught up later.

What can wait

House upgrades, Homi Decor wishes, Starsea routes and collection grinding are weekly projects, not daily obligations. Pick one project per week and let the rest breathe.

Cozy rule: if the checklist makes you feel behind, close it. The game has no fail state, and the Starsea will still be there tomorrow.

Field notes

Frequently asked questions

What should you do daily in Petit Planet?

Talk to one neighbor, give a gift, water and harvest crops, cook something, catch a few creatures, check the shops and claim daily Footprints. A Starsea Voyage is optional but recommended when you have anchors.

Does the checklist reset every day?

Yes. It resets at local midnight and saves your progress in the browser during the day.

Is this the same as the in-game daily tasks?

No. It is a fan-made routine based on the game's systems. The in-game Footprints and daily missions are the official progress track.

Do I need to do every task?

No. The checklist is a menu, not a job. Pick the three or four tasks that fit your play session; the rest can wait.
